29 Faces... #11

Day 11:
Charcoal and paint over an abstract background.

I wanted to do one of my Abstract/Charcoal portraits on a lighter... more pastel-colored background. And as I worked on this one, it just was a naturaly step to add more colorful details to her face as well. (I usually don't add more colors to the drawn face). From the first strokes of the charcoal, this gal had a sweet disposition, and I just love her. Can't wait til she is done!

  1. Thanks for sharing a few details about how you do your artwork. I get excited every time I see another piece of your work.

  2. Thank you, Cheryl. That was so nice of you to say. Made my day :)

  3. Such a sweet face! Love the background, too. :)

  4. Beautiful little face Linda... as are all the gorgeous faces I have just looked at in your older posts... love your style...
